Student Nursing Association Travel

Who are we?

The Student Nursing Association at Southern Arkansas University.  National Convention is right around the corner and we need your help with travel expenses!  This is an opportunity like no other, and we would greatly appreciate any donation you can give!

Why is it important that we go?

National Convention is an opportunity for future nurses to expand their professional development skills and also speak with potential employers.  For seniors, this could be vital in landing our DREAM JOB! For juniors, this is a way to get our foot in the door for potential internship opportunities and amazing prospective learning experiences!

How will this trip impact us?

Many of us cannot afford a trip to Dallas on our own to meet with these expert nurses and employers.  Also, this conference gives us the opportunity to network and learn from a variety of focus sections.  As students it allows us to take a break from traditional classroom learning and helps us develop interpersonal skills that are necessary during interviews.  Furthermore this occasion will permit us to see nursing on a National level.
